Your medical career happens here, where your skills contribute to the well-being of an entire community.

We are hiring a full-time phlebotomist to join our growing lab services team.  You will be a vital part of a close-knit care team delivering essential services to patients who truly depend on you.

In a rural setting, every interaction matters. You’ll build meaningful relationships with patients, collaborate closely with providers, and play a key role in timely, accurate diagnosis and care. This is hands-on, purpose-driven work where your expertise is seen, valued, and appreciated every day.

You will work 36 hours a week, Monday – Friday, to include travel from Northwood to other communities served by NDHC, collecting, preparing, and processing specimens drawn from patients of all ages in our clinics, hospital and long-term care units and be trained to perform EKGs.

Our ideal phlebotomist will have previous experience and will have completed a phlebotomy training program, however we will provide training and invite applications from any person with at least a high school diploma who has an interest and desire to learn and grow in this meaningful field of work. Punctuality and reliability are necessary. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.

This opportunity includes

  • Base pay starting at $17.00 with consideration for higher pay based on relevant experience

  • Fully paid employee health insurance option with generous employer share toward employee family plans

  • Pre-tax account options include FSAs and HSA

  • Dental and vision insurance

  • Employer-paid life insurance

  • Generous paid time off, advanced in the first year

  • Up to 4% employer match toward 401k retirement

This is more than a job – it’s a chance to bring high-quality care to people who need your gentle, patient-centered approach and commitment to quality. If that’s you, apply today.
