FINANCIAL SERVICES
We work hard to ensure quality healthcare is available to everyone needing care. We take our responsibility to our community and patients seriously to ensure the sustainability of our Center and the invaluable services we provide.
Our patient advocate or social worker can help you navigate insurance coverage, discuss financial assistance that may be available, and help you enroll in programs that may provide additional financial support.
For people without insurance and who have low incomes (within 200% of the federal poverty guidelines), NDHC's Financial Assistance and Charity Care Programs may be available to help lower the care costs. Those who qualify may have charges reduced to the same amount someone with insurance would generally be billed. Further reductions may be taken according to the Charity Care Sliding Scale. Reductions will be determined by discounting gross charges by the Medicare-Critical Access Hospital interim rate.
