Video Visits
Using interactive video technology, our providers can reach you when getting to us isn't possible. A video visit can involve the patient, their family, our telemedicine nurse, and practitioner.
Over a secure, private connection, through your MyChart account, it's like the provider and patient are in the same room together. Most visits are covered by insurance similarly to regular office visits.
Telehealth connects to other providers
NDHC is equipped to offer a telehealth connection with specialists at Altru Health System in Grand Forks. Avoid the travel and still receive the care and consultation needed.
Medicare Wellness Visits
Your Medicare Part B insurance covers annual wellness visits and personalized prevention plan services at no additional cost to you. Schedule your initial screening within 12 months of Medicare Part B enrollment and annually after that.
During your visit, we review your health risk assessment and medical history, screen for depression and memory loss, and determine your functional ability and level of safety. This conversation and review can help identify potential health issues before they happen and lead to proactive treatment options.
