We are seeking a detail-oriented, integrity-driven Health Information Manager to oversee medical coding, health information management and privacy compliance.
This full-time position serves as the primary resources for coding accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and health information best practices to support revenue cycle accuracy and health records management.
You will work closely with providers, providing guidance regarding documentation standards; oversee health records maintenance and audits; perform and review ICD-10, CPT, and HCPS coding while collaborating with billing staff to support clean claims and revenue integrity; and serve as Privacy Officer, providing staff education and investing concerns on confidentiality and privacy matters.
A hybrid schedule may be considered, combining time on-site at least 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely on a mutually agreed upon schedule.
Our ideal candidate will have a degree in health information management and coding certification (CCS-P, CCS, or CPC) and experience in RHC and/or CAH coding. RHIT or RHIA certification is preferred.
