Applications are being accepted through March 31 for the 2023 Health Profession Scholarship awarded by Northwood Deaconess Health Center (NDHC).
Up to two $1,000 awards will be given to high school seniors who will be pursuing a health career or college students in a post-secondary health profession program.
“NDHC is pleased to offer these scholarships to encourage and support young talent who will shape the future of rural healthcare delivery,” said CEO Brock Sherva.
Applicants should have a minimum 3.25 grade point average. Preference will be given to students attending school in proximity to the communities served by NDHC as well as students who express intent to work in a rural health setting upon degree completion.
