We are seeking skilled and compassionate full-time REGISTERED NURSES to join our team, providing exemplary emergency and in-patient care at our 25-bed critical access hospital.

 

As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in emergency situations, as well as day-to-day high-quality care to patients staying with us for observation, during recovery from illnesses or surgeries, and other medical needs, as well as those received long-term skilled care.  


You will be part of transformational growth as NDHC expands our hospital-based services with a $39 million campus renovation and expansion that includes a new state-of-the-art ER and patient care rooms expected to open in Fall 2025.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver emergency and in-patient care with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and well-being.

  • Assist in managing critical care situations and participate in trauma-related procedures.

  • Maintain patient assessments, monitoring, and documentation in accordance with hospital protocols.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

  • Maintain a calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure environments.

  • Ensure patient care meets the standards for quality and compliance with medical protocols.

 

Requirements:

  • Unencumbered RN license in the state of North Dakota.

  • Certification in IV therapy.

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).

  • Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations and remain composed under pressure.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Professional demeanor and commitment to exceptional patient care.

  • Ability to work rotating day/night schedules and flexibility with shifts.

 

Our nurses rotate 12-hour shifts, scheduled over two months to include rotating weekends and holidays. We'll work with you to create a rotation schedule that supports your work-life balance. NDHC provides:

  • A highly competitive base wage (dependent on experience) plus shift differential pay
