Diabetic education class offered May 4

Northwood Deaconess Health Center (NDHC) invites individuals impacted by diabetes to an educational class from 1 – 3 p.m. Monday, May 4 at NDHC.

Dietician Lisa Becker and Diabetic Nurse Educator Stacey Jacobson will provide information and resources in areas of nutrition, physical activity, and disease management.

“This class will be beneficial for any diabetic person who wants to learn more about diabetes and how lifestyle changes can improve outcomes,” said Jacobson. “It is part of our ongoing commitment at NDHC to provide healthcare close to home.” Caregivers are invited to participate.

The class will be in the hospital's meeting room. Participants should use the NDHC main entrance and follow signs to the meeting room.
