Northwood Deaconess Health Center (NDHC), located in Northwood, ND, provides a full range of health care services. NDHC operates a 12 Bed Acute Care Hospital, a 77 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility (including a unit specializing in Dementia care), and provides a full range of laboratory and x-ray services, physical rehabilitation and occupation therapy, and ambulance services. With more than 190 employees and a payroll of $3.7M (2004), NDHC is the Northwood area's largest employer and is proud to be one of the "pioneers" of health care in the state of North Dakota.
